Intensive 4 week basic manners and behaviour course
Service Description
Looking to build a strong foundation of good manners and reliable obedience for your dog? Our Basic Obedience Class covers all the essentials: sit, down, stay, look, recall, leave, loose leash walking, polite greetings and general good behaviour around other dogs and people. With small numbers in each class, you'll get the support, feedback and attention you need to succeed. We encourage the whole family to continue training at home, but handlers during the course must be 16 years or older. Guests are welcome to observe the class, but only one handler per dog at a time please. This course is perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to brush up on their dog's manners. Ready to set your dog up for success? Book your spot today! . . Suitability of Dogs These classes are not suitable for reactive dogs. By “reactive,” we mean dogs that lunge, bark, growl, snap, or become overstimulated around other dogs, people, or new environments. For safety reasons, any dog showing these behaviours may be asked to leave without refund.
Cancellation Policy
To secure your spot in one of our classes, a deposit is required. Please note that deposits are non-refundable if you change your mind or are unable to attend. This is a short, intensive course, and missing classes can make it very difficult to keep up. To help you stay on track, we'll send homework via email after each session. However, "make up" classes or private catch-up sessions are not available, so we encourage you to attend every session. If, for any reason, the course does not go ahead, your deposit will be fully refunded. If a class is rescheduled for any reason, attendee's will be notified via email and text message. However, we train in most weather conditions, so please bring a jacket and sturdy footwear to training (no jandals, sandals or bare feet please).
