This intensive, 4 week all-inclusive course is designed to give puppy owners the very best foundation skills and knowledge to train their puppy successfully and avoid costly dog training fee's in the future. Complete with weekly homework and tangible targets, Puppy Foundations covers the basics of sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking/heeling, impulse control, look, leave and much more. Small numbers per class ensure you get the support, feedback and attention you need throughout the course. Our flagship Puppy Foundations also includes discussion time and education on common dog behaviour and training topics. To suit dogs 8 weeks - 6 months. Trainers must be aged 16 years and over. Guests welcome but only one handler at a time please. This course is focused on dog behaviour and training - we still recommend you attend your vet led class for early socialisation and education on nutrition, dental and healthcare topics. Deposit must be paid to secure booking. Puppies to attend wearing snug fitting collar and on lead (plain sturdy lead or slip/mendota only please). No harnesses or retractables please.
Cancellation Policy
To secure your spot in one of our classes, a deposit is required. Please note that deposits are non-refundable if you change your mind or are unable to attend. This is a short, intensive course, and missing classes can make it very difficult to keep up. To help you stay on track, we'll send homework via email after each session. However, "make up" classes or private catch-up sessions are not available, so we encourage you to attend every session. If, for any reason, the course does not go ahead, your deposit will be fully refunded. If a class is rescheduled for any reason, attendee's will be notified via email and text message. However, we train in most weather conditions, so please bring a jacket and sturdy footwear to training (no jandals, sandals or bare feet please).
