And don't worry, we still HIGHLY recommend these classes - they're imperative for early socialisation, health, nutrition & dental information! But Puppy Foundations is very, very different to any vet class. Puppy Foundations is an intensive, 6 week all-inclusive course is designed to give puppy owners the very best foundation skills and knowledge to train their puppy successfully into the future. It's not enough to know how to make your dog sit! How will you fix common behaviour problems when they occur - like jumping up, chewing & destructive behaviour, toileting problems, pulling on the lead, your pup not listening to you?! When you understand HOW dogs learn and how their BRAIN WORKS, then you can learn how to successfully communicate and get the best from your dog. When you learn to communicate effectively with your dog, you will have a successful relationship with them. Puppy ownership is not all roses - it can be hard work! But don't worry, our trainers are here to help. Complete with weekly homework and tangible targets, Puppy Foundations covers the basics of sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking/heeling, impulse control, look, leave and much more. We have two trainers per class to ensure you get the support, feedback and attention you need throughout the course. Our flagship Puppy Foundations also includes discussion time and education on common dog behaviour problems and training topics. To suit dogs under 8 months of age only. Trainers must be aged 16 years and over. Guests welcome but only one handler at a time please. Puppies to attend wearing snug fitting collar and on lead (plain sturdy lead or slip/mendota only please). No harnesses or retractable leads please.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 48hrs in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. Please be advised that deposits are non-refundable if you change your mind. Deposits will be refunded if the course does not go ahead for any reason. Thank you for understanding. If a class is rescheduled for any reason, attendee's will be notified via email and text message. However, we will be training in all weather conditions, so please bring a jacket and sturdy footwear for training (no jandals, sandals or bare feet please).
